Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and maintain daily account of daily transaction;
  • Perform day to day accounting book keeping and data entry;
  • Manage Cash Received and Payments process. Prepare and manage the accounting record and files, including account payable, vouchers, receipts, cash deposit, bank statement;
  • Ensure that all invoices are booked timely and correctly;
  • Update account receivable, check payment, receipt vouchers;
  • Collect and arrange all payment request, invoices, documents for payment sent by other departments to make sure all are complied with internal policy and tax laws;
  • Prepare VAT report and perform necessary matching for Input VAT and filing;
  • Coordinate with Cashiers to update the cash book periodically and within the deadline as set out including:
    - Verify that the payments comply with Academy’s financial policies
    - Check that payments are supported with appropriate invoices, receipts and/or other documents, making sure they comply with the relevant tax laws of Vietnam.
    - Reconcile the actual cash amount with cash records of Accounts and Cashier.
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately;
  • Prepare financial reports, annual dependent audit;
  • Make reports to Tax Office, Statistic Bureau, and Department of Education and Training, etc. 
  • Co-ordinate with relevant departments in doing costing, statistical analysis;
  • Support on all departments administrative related issues: booking of transportation, accommodation, etc.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Operations Manager and Regional Director.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in similar role.
  • Prior experience handling accounting and confidential matters required;
  • Versatile, flexible, adapt quickly to change and connect: you are excited by fast-paced, fast-changing environments.
  • Honest, willing to learn new things and attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently & resourcefully
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PPT…
  • Good verbal and written skills in both English and Vietnamese.
